Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate

Junior Bakery Chef

with 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of high-quality baked goods, contribute to recipe execution and product innovation, and support daily operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence in production.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, and desserts in accordance with recipes and quality standards. Support the Head Baker/Pastry Chef in daily production tasks and ensure timely completion of orders. Assist in recipe development and testing for seasonal or new menu items. Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and product quality throughout the baking process. Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Manage ingredient stock levels, assist with inventory control, and ensure proper storage of supplies. Train and guide junior team members or apprentices as needed. Collaborate with the team on event or custom bakery projects, including decoration and presentation.

Requirements:

2-4 years of experience in a professional bakery, patisserie, or culinary kitchen. Solid understanding of baking techniques, ingredient handling, and pastry production. Familiarity with bakery equipment such as mixers, proofers, ovens, and dough sheeters. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills. Ability to work early shifts, weekends, or holidays as required by production schedules. Diploma or certification in Baking & Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts preferred.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?22,000.00 per month
