Responsibilities:

Assist in developing backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js. Work with both MongoDB and SQL databases to support data operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, design) to implement business logic. Write clean, modular, and well-documented code. Participate in debugging, testing, and code reviews. Continuously learn and apply backend best practices to improve performance and scalability. Support deployment and integration of backend components.

Qualifications:

0-2 years of backend development experience (including internships or academic projects). Strong knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript. Hands-on experience with MongoDB and SQL databases (e.g., MySQL or PostgreSQL). Familiarity with Express.js and RESTful API development. Understanding of version control (Git). Good problem-solving and debugging skills. Curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for backend development. Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar). Interest in sustainability and tech-for-good initiatives.
