About the Role

The Junior AutoCad Draftsman supports the design and engineering team by preparing the basic technical drawings and assisting in drafting activities. This role is ideal for the candidates who are early in their career and eager to build their skills in technical drafting and design documentation.

Responsibilities



Assist in preparing 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCad software.



Update and revise drawings under guidance of the production manager.

Convert sketches and basic specification into technical drawings.

Ensures drawings are accurate, properly formatted and meet project requirements.

Maintain drawings file and ensure documentation is up to date.

Coordinate with the team members to understand drafting needs and deadline.

Preparing the nesting file for CNC cutting machine.

Support the team of CNC machine and the operator.

Must Have

Basic knowledge of Cad operation, 3D will be added advantage.

Able to work on engineering drawing

Able to make plate contour from cad files

Qualification: Diploma of Mechanical Engineer

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
