Job Description

A Junior Architectural Designer supports senior architects in developing project designs, creating technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software, and assisting with client presentations and documentation. Key responsibilities include conducting research on building materials and codes, collaborating with engineers and other team members, and ensuring designs meet client needs and regulatory standards. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience to develop architectural skills. Key Responsibilities

Design Support:

Assist senior architects in conceptualizing and developing architectural designs and plans.

Technical Drawings:

Produce detailed drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.

Project Research:

Conduct research on building materials, construction methods, and relevant building codes and regulations.

Documentation:

Help prepare construction documents, project proposals, and reports.

Client Interaction:

Participate in client meetings, assist with presentations, and help communicate project status.

Team Collaboration:

Work with engineers, interior designers, and other consultants to ensure project success.

Site Visits:

Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary data.

Compliance:

Ensure that designs comply with local regulations, building codes, and client specifications.
Skills Needed

Technical Proficiency:

Expertise in CAD software and other design tools.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.

Knowledge of Codes:

Understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards.
