Key responsibilities

Design and documentation:

Assist in developing architectural designs and preparing detailed drawings, blueprints, and specifications using CAD software like AutoCAD.

Project support:

Help with the coordination of projects, manage project documentation, and track project progress.

Site visits and analysis:

Conduct site visits to gather information, assess project progress, and assist with site analysis.

Research and compliance:

Research building codes, materials, and construction methods to ensure projects comply with regulations and standards.

Client and team communication:

Participate in client meetings, assist with presentations, and act as a liaison between the client, senior architects, and other team members.

Project lifecycle:

Support all phases of a project, including initial brainstorming, design development, and final documentation.

Required skills and qualifications

Education:

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.ARCH) or a related field.

Technical skills:

Proficiency in CAD and other design software is essential.

Soft skills:

Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are necessary for working with clients and project teams.

Knowledge:

A well-rounded understanding of sustainable planning and local building regulations is crucial.
