About the Role:
Title: MTS I Android
Location: Pune (Hinjewadi Phase 1 - WFO)
Major Responsibilities:
Plan, design, modify and implement software applications from functional and system design specifications.
Code, integrate, test, debug, and refine software to produce the required product.
Develop tools and subsystems to support software development, testing, and reuse, and manage their implementation.
Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency and robustness.
Review, evaluate, and analyze design interfaces.
Prepare, review, and evaluate interface documentation, specifications, test plans, and procedures.
Assist in definition, analysis, and allocation of requirements.
Support system test programs and analyze system testing results.
Maintain the developed software efficiently through familiarity with software lifecycles.
Document designs in engineering documents including functional block diagrams and data/logic flow charts.
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging of designs.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
Experience in Java, Kotlin / Android Studio / SDK; knowledge of MVVM, MVP, MVC.
AWS as preferred cloud.
Prior experience with multimedia application development including streaming audio/video servers and clients highly desirable.
Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures in the discipline.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and make efficient use of resources.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well in small teams and interface with customers via documentation.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
1.5 - 3 years' work experience.
