They bridge legal expertise with digital proficiency, requiring skills in MS Office, Excel, typing, and specific legal tech, working in office, law firms, or corporate legal departments.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Document Management: Drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
Data Management: Entering and maintaining client data, case files, and records accurately.
eDiscovery: Processing and managing electronic data for legal cases, using specialized tools.
Administrative Support: Handling general office tasks, coordinating with departments, and managing communications.
Technical Support: Ensuring computer systems and software (like Outlook, Excel, legal tech platforms) function correctly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree, potentially a computer diploma/certificate, plus bar qualification (LLB/Advocate).
Technical Skills: MS Office Suite (especially Excel), typing, database management, legal software (Relativity, Nuix).
Legal Knowledge: Understanding of legal frameworks, procedures, and ethics.
Soft Skills: Attention to detail, organization, communication, and confidentiality.
