Job Title- Junior Actuarial Analyst- Actuarial-2+ Years-Bangalore
Summary- We are seeking a talented and driven Actuarial Analytics Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in actuarial science, data analysis, and a passion for leveraging analytics to drive business insights and process automation within the banking industry.
Responsibilities-
Conduct data analysis and develop actuarial models to support client engagements, including risk assessments, pricing analysis, and financial forecasting.
Collaborate with senior team members to design and implement analytical solutions, leveraging advanced analytics tools and techniques.
Assist in the development and maintenance of actuarial models and databases, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data.
Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization, streamlining workflows and increasing efficiency.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and through written reports.
Must contribute towards new business development such as assessing pain areas for our clients, generating solutions for clients.
Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines.
Requirements-

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in economics, mathematics, actuarial sciences, statistics, or engineering.

Experience level required ranges from 2-4 years
Prior experience in Pricing, Reserving, and Capital Modeling is preferred.
Affiliation to IAI, IFOA, or SoA, with a requirement of at least 2-6 CT actuarial exams cleared.
Strong reserving experience or good knowledge of reserving methods and techniques is preferred.
Knowledge of insurance products and regulatory environment is necessary.
Experience with Solvency II, IFRS 17, or US-GAAP LDTI is a plus.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, SAS, VBA, and other relevant tools for data analysis and modeling, with knowledge of Python and PowerBI being advantageous.
Exposure to actuarial software like IGLOO is beneficial.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment, and readiness to take up challenges.
