Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our accounts department.He will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry, and a strong commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:



Accounts Payable Management:

Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently. Review and verify purchase orders, contracts, and invoices for proper authorization and compliance. Maintain vendor records and reconcile vendor statements.

Accounts Receivable Management:

Generate and send customer invoices in a timely manner. Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding invoices. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.

Financial Reporting:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Compile financial data and generate various financial reports for management review. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.

General Ledger Maintenance:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Prepare and post journal entries as necessary. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Tax Compliance:

Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations. Maintain records and documentation for tax audits and assessments. Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the pharmaceutical industry.

Internal Controls and Audit Support:

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and documentation.

Process Improvement Initiatives:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance department. Participate in cross-functional projects to streamline accounting processes and systems.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Prior experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally, or similar). Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Knowledge of tax laws and regulations relevant to the pharmaceutical sector. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
