who is eager to build a career in accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, ensuring compliance, and serving as the
primary liaison
for external auditors and tax consultants.
Key Responsibilities
Tally Management & Bookkeeping:
Perform daily bookkeeping and record-keeping duties using
Tally ERP 9/Prime
with hands-on proficiency.
Manage and process purchase and sales entries, journal vouchers, and contra entries accurately in Tally.
Perform bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Process and verify invoices, bills, and payments (Accounts Payable).
Prepare and raise sales invoices.
Proactively follow up with customers
to ensure timely collection of payments and resolve invoice queries.
Coordination & Compliance Support:
Act as the primary point of contact
for our auditing team and tax consultants.
Facilitate the audit process
by preparing and extracting necessary data and reports from Tally and other internal systems.
Gather and submit required documents, including bank statements, contracts, and internal reports, to the auditors and tax vendors.
Assist in documentation and coordination for
tax registrations
(e.g., GST, TDS) and other regulatory licenses.
Coordinate efficiently with various
tax and accounts vendors
to ensure timely submission of statutory returns and filings.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
0 to 3 years of relevant experience in an accounting role.
Mandatory Technical Skill:
Proven, hands-on working knowledge of Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime is a must.
Core Accounting Skills:
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and the GST framework.
Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
required for liaising with external parties (auditors, customers, vendors).
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage follow-up tasks effectively.
