Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Support:
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
Invoice Processing:
Manage and process invoices, ensuring timely payments and maintaining a record of all transactions.
Payroll Support:
Assist with payroll processing and ensure proper documentation of salary disbursements and tax deductions.
Reconciliation:
Assist with monthly and year-end reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
Tax and Compliance:
Support in preparing and filing tax-related documents and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Reporting:
Prepare financial reports and assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
Bank Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy and resolve.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
1-2 years of experience in accounting (hospitality experience is a plus)
Proficiency in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
Willingness to work flexible hours if required during audits or month-end
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
