Job Overview

The Knot Company is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated

Junior Accountant

to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will be a

B.Com graduate

with

2-5 years of relevant accounting experience

, capable of handling day-to-day accounting operations and supporting financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain books of accounts and record daily financial transactions Prepare and post journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable Assist in bank reconciliations and monthly closing activities Support preparation of financial statements and reports Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance (as applicable) Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Eligibility & Qualifications

Education:

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) - Mandatory

Experience:

2 to 5 years of experience in accounting or finance Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Required Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) Good working knowledge of MS Excel Understanding of taxation basics (GST, TDS preferred) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills (Optional)

Experience in manufacturing / retail / service industry Exposure to audits and statutory filings
