Maintain Financial Records: Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
General Ledger Maintenance: Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are properly documented and up-to-date.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage invoices, payments, and collections to ensure timely processing and accurate reporting.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
Tax Compliance: Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations. Prepare and file GST, TDS, or other applicable tax returns.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, tracking performance against the budget.
Internal Audits: Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary financial data and documentation.
Expense Management: Monitor and control departmental and project expenses to align with budget allocations.
Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll calculations, ensuring correct deductions and contributions.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards (GAAP), and financial reporting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ) and Microsoft Excel.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and produce meaningful insights and reports.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in work, with strong attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify discrepancies, propose solutions, and ensure the integrity of financial records.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements:
Professional certification (B.Com, Accounts, CA Inter passed out, or CMA Inter passedout ) is a plus.
Familiarity with tax laws, payroll processing, and compliance reporting.
Experience in budgeting and forecasting is desirable.
