As a Junior Accountant, you'll work closely with senior accountants and management, gaining hands-on exposure to real-world accounting, compliance, and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts and financial records
Record day-to-day accounting entries (sales, purchases, expenses, payments)
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Prepare invoices, vouchers, and bank reconciliations
Assist in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance filings
Maintain vendor and customer ledgers
Support audits and documentation requirements
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
0-2 years of experience (Freshers with strong fundamentals are welcome)
Basic knowledge of
Accounting Principles & Financial Statements
Familiarity with
Tally / Excel
Good analytical and numerical skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)
Knowledge of
GST, TDS, and statutory compliances
Internship or practical accounting exposure
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
Willingness to pursue professional certifications (CA-Inter / CMA / ACCA)
