About this Position



We are looking for a Junior Finance & Accounts Executive to support day-to-day finance and accounting operations for Banfico and its group entities. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher or an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in end-to-end finance processes within an international setup.



You'll work closely with the Finance Manager and Senior Finance Team members on activities ranging from bookkeeping and reconciliations to monthly reporting and audit support.



Roles & Responsibilities



Handle daily accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts in Xero (or equivalent accounting software). Record supplier invoices, employee reimbursements, and vendor payments. Support bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable tracking, and intercompany transactions. Assist in month-end closing activities and management reporting. Maintain and organize financial records, documentation, and schedules for audit purposes. Coordinate with internal teams for data collection (payroll, expense claims, project costs, etc.). Support preparation of statutory filings, tax documentation, and compliance reports as directed. Contribute to improving processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com / M.Com / equivalent). 0 - 1 year of experience in accounting or finance (internship experience acceptable). Basic knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, and reconciliations. Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets (comfortable with formulas, lookups, pivots). Willingness to learn accounting software (experience with Xero or Tally is a plus). Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills. Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-entity environment and handle multiple priorities.
