Key Responsibilities



1. Daily Accounting Operations



Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including data entry of Sales, Purchase, Receipt, and Payment vouchers in

Tally Prime/ERP 9

. Maintain and update the General Ledger and subsidiary accounts. Process

Accounts Payable (AP)

: Verify vendor invoices, prepare payment vouchers, and track outstanding payments. Process

Accounts Receivable (AR)

: Generate invoices for clients and follow up on pending payments.

2. Banking & Reconciliation



Perform

Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)

on a weekly/monthly basis to ensure bank balances match company records. Handle petty cash expenses and maintain the petty cash register.

3. Compliance & Reporting (GST/TDS)



Assist in the preparation of GST data (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS calculations. Ensure all statutory dues are calculated and recorded on time. Assist the Senior Accountant in preparing monthly financial reports and Year-End Audits.

4. Documentation



Maintain an organised digital and physical filing system for all financial documents (bills, invoices, receipts).

Requirements & Qualifications



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (

B.Com

) is mandatory. M.Com or MBA (Finance) is a plus.

Experience:

[0 - 2] years of experience in accounting.

Freshers with strong conceptual knowledge are welcome to apply.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in

Tally Prime

or

Tally ERP 9

is essential. Good working knowledge of

MS Excel

(Basic formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

Soft Skills:

High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers. Integrity and ability to handle confidential information. Good written and verbal communication skills.
