who has basic accounting knowledge and can handle day-to-day financial transactions. The candidate should be familiar with cheque preparation, basic bookkeeping, and accounting entries.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and issue cheques for vendor and employee payments.
Maintain records of daily financial transactions.
Assist in data entry, voucher preparation, and bank reconciliation.
Support senior accountant in maintaining books of accounts.
Handle petty cash, invoices, and expense tracking.
Coordinate with banks for deposits, withdrawals, and cheque clearance.
File and organize accounting documents properly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
6 months to 1 year of accounting experience (freshers with good knowledge may also apply).
Knowledge of
Tally / MS Excel / MS Office
.
Should know
how to prepare and fill cheques
properly.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and GST (preferred).
Good communication and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
