Job Title: Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations:

Handle day-to-day accounting entries, including purchases, administrative, and service bills. Manage and process all banking transactions and ensure accurate documentation. Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring timely and accurate recording of all financial data.

Taxation & Compliance:

Apply working knowledge of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and GST (Goods and Services Tax) for accurate deductions, filings, and compliance. Assist in the preparation and submission of statutory returns.

Reconciliation & Reporting:

Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Update accounts receivable and payable, and follow up on outstanding payments. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.

ERP & Software Management:

Operate accounting software, with a focus on ERP systems and Tally. Maintain and update financial records in the accounting system.

Administrative Support:

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for billing and payment-related queries. Support senior accountants and management with audits, budgeting, and other projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience (freshers with strong internship experience may also apply). Strong working knowledge of TDS and GST regulations. Proficiency in Tally and ERP accounting systems. Good command of MS Excel and basic office applications. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
