Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily
accounting entries
, purchase/sales records, and bookkeeping
Handle
invoices, bills, credit notes, and debit notes
Perform
bank reconciliation, payment reconciliation, and marketplace settlement reconciliation
(Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, Blinkit, Zepto, etc.)
Assist in
GST working, TDS working, and monthly filings
with the CA
Track
expenses, vendor payments, and petty cash
Coordinate with internal teams regarding
payments, refunds, returns, and settlements
Maintain organized accounting documentation
Requirements
1-2 years of accounting experience (e-commerce experience is a plus)
Strong knowledge of
Tally
Basic understanding of
GST, TDS, debit/credit, ledgers, reconciliation
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table basics)
Good communication and organizational skills
Good to Have
Experience with
marketplace payment reports
Ability to work with CA for monthly accounting closure
Understanding of inventory accounting
