Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate books of accounts for both companies using Tally, Zoho Books, or similar software.
Record all
daily transactions
, including
sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
.
Manage
accounts payable and receivable
, ensuring timely reconciliations.
2. GST & Tax Compliance
Prepare and file
GST returns
(monthly/quarterly as applicable) for both businesses.
Handle
TDS deductions, filings, and reconciliation
.
Coordinate with tax consultants for
IT filings
and compliance-related matters.
3. Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare
monthly P&L statements
,
balance sheets
, and
cash flow statements
.
Track
expenses vs. revenues
, highlighting any discrepancies or overspending.
Assist in
budget preparation
and
variance analysis
.
Generate
financial summaries
for management to assess business health and plan investments.
4. Expense & Revenue Management
Maintain detailed records of
project-wise costs
,
vendor payments
, and
client receipts
.
Work with the design and real estate teams to
forecast upcoming financial requirements
.
Monitor
profit margins
for design projects and real estate developments.
5. Audit & Compliance
Assist in preparing documents for
internal and statutory audits
.
Ensure compliance with
Company Law
,
GST Act
, and other applicable regulations.
6. Process Improvement
Implement systematic
expense tracking mechanisms
for both companies.
Suggest improvements in financial processes to optimize cash flow and working capital.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
B.Com / M.Com in Accounting or Finance.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to
real estate and design sectors
.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in
Tally ERP
,
Zoho Books
, or similar accounting software.
Advanced
MS Excel
(Pivot, VLOOKUP, Financial Analysis).
Understanding of
GST, TDS, and Indian Taxation
.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and numerical ability.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks across two businesses.
