We are looking for a
Junior Accountant
who is meticulous, reliable, and proactive. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in
Tally
, strong communication skills (especially over email), and can manage day-to-day accounting with clarity and consistency. You should be comfortable working in a structured environment, collaborating across departments, and handling financial data with discretion.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting activities in
Tally Prime
Prepare and verify vouchers, ledgers, bank entries, and journal postings
Support
monthly closing, GST filing, and TDS deductions
Assist with reconciliations (banks, vendors, inter-branch, etc.)
Maintain clean, well-documented financial records for audits
Prepare MIS reports and payment follow-up schedules
Professionally draft and respond to accounting-related emails with vendors, clients, and internal teams
Coordinate with auditors and support compliance documentation
Assist in streamlining workflows, processes, and checklists
Must-Have Qualifications
3-5 years of accounting experience in a structured business environment
Strong proficiency in
Tally Prime (or ERP 9)
Clear and professional
email communication skills
Sound knowledge of accounting standards, taxation (GST/TDS), and reconciliations
Hands-on experience with
MS Excel
(basic formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
B.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting or Commerce
Preferred Qualities
Strong attention to detail and zero-tolerance for errors
High sense of
ownership and accountability
in financial matters
Ability to maintain
confidentiality and discretion
Organized in both digital and physical documentation
Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and senior management
Well-versed in deadlines, audit trails, and internal controls
Familiarity with
AI tools
or finance automation software (e.g., ChatGPT, Power Automate, Google Sheets integrations) is a significant plus
Willingness to learn and adapt to better ways of working using technology
