To support the Academy's finance and accounting functions by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Recordkeeping & Reporting
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and cashbooks. (BPP - Building Careers Through Education)
Prepare and assist with financial reports, statements, and summaries as required.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process invoices, receipts, bills, and payments for vendors and service providers.
Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable balances.
Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain records of all transactions.
Banking & Reconciliation
Reconcile bank statements with internal records on a periodic basis. (
Prepare bank deposits and ensure timely recording of transactions.
Payroll Support
Assist with payroll processing and documentation
Budgeting & Compliance
Assist in preparing budgets and budget forecasts.
Support compliance with financial policies, statutory regulations, and audit requirements.
Administrative Support
Maintain filing systems for financial documentation.
Respond to finance queries from internal stakeholders and external partners.
Qualifications & Skills Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
Candidates with relevant diploma/certificate may also be considered.
Experience
Prior experience in accounting or finance (1-2 years preferred). (Indeed)
Experience with accounting software (like
Tally ERP
, QuickBooks, or similar) is a plus.
Skills
Strong
numerical accuracy

Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
and accounting tools.

Effective communication and teamwork ability.
Discretion and ability to handle confidential financial information.
Working Conditions
