Signature Interiors & Contractors is looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Kochi. The ideal candidate will assist the finance team in managing day-to-day accounting tasks while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in the accounting software. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Reconcile bank statements and ledgers. Assist with payroll processing and statutory compliance Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Conduct periodic audits and provide necessary documentation for internal audits. Handle petty cash and expense reports. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field. Proven experience as a Junior Accountant or similar role (0-3 years preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software. Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with inventory management and reconciliation. Experience in the construction or interiors industry is a plus. Additional certifications in Tally, taxation, or accounting will be an advantage.
