Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves managing purchase order entries, tracking payments, and assisting in day-to-day accounting activities. The candidate should be organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Enter purchase orders accurately into the accounting/ERP system. Monitor vendor invoices and ensure timely processing. Follow up on pending payments with clients and vendors. Assist in preparing and reconciling accounts payable and receivable. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records. Coordinate with internal departments for approval and payment processing. Assist senior accountants in audits and financial reporting.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field. 1 years of experience in accounting or finance. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and MS Excel. Familiarity with ERP/Accounting software is an added advantage. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Eagerness to learn and grow in the finance domain. Team player with a positive attitude.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Kakkanad, Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
