Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, invoicing, and compliance operations. You will work closely with the founders and operations team to ensure financial accuracy, clean records, and strong controls as the company scales.

This is a great role for someone who wants real startup exposure, fast learning, and long-term growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally & Zoho Books Record all sales, purchases, expenses, payments, and receipts Bank & cash reconciliation

Billing & Documentation

Create and manage sales invoices Prepare delivery challans Track collections and outstanding receivables Coordinate with operations for order vs invoice matching

Inventory & Cost Tracking

Maintain inventory records for materials and products Track inward/outward movement of goods Support basic project costing & material consumption tracking

Compliance & Reporting

Assist in GST filings, returns, and reconciliations Maintain vendor and customer ledgers Support basic statutory and regulatory compliance Prepare financial data for CA, auditors, and management

Required Skills & Experience

1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a startup, manufacturing, or project-based company Strong working knowledge of: Tally Zoho Books MS Excel / Google Sheets Understanding of: GST Invoicing & delivery challans Inventory accounting Basic compliance processes Detail-oriented and well-organized
