: Accountant (Construction Material Industry)

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced

Accountant

to manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate records, and support overall accounting functions. Candidates with prior experience in the

construction material or infrastructure sector

will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounting records as per company policies. Handle accounts payable/receivable, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliation. Prepare GST returns, TDS filings, and other statutory compliance reports. Manage sales and purchase entries, invoice verification, and expense tracking. Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate with clients/vendors for timely settlements. Support internal and external audits with required documentation. Maintain stock and inventory records for construction materials. Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams for accurate financial tracking. Ensure accuracy in billing related to material dispatch, freight, and delivery documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent. 1-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in

construction materials, steel, cement, or building materials

industry. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and overall statutory compliance. Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally Prime) Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.

Salary Range:

As per industry standards and based on experience.
