Job Description

We are hiring for Junior Accountant profile for our Company based @ Nikol, Ahmedabad

Candidate must have min 2+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting

Must have good communication skills

Senior experience person more preferrable

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Data Entry & Record Keeping

: Accurately posting journal entries, documenting financial transactions, and updating financial records.

Accounts Payable (AP) & Receivable (AR)

: Processing invoices, issuing payments, managing client invoices, and resolving discrepancies.

Bank & Account Reconciliation

: Reconciling bank statements with the general ledger and balancing financial records monthly/quarterly.

Financial Reporting Assistance

: Helping prepare income statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.

Month-End/Year-End Close

: Supporting closing procedures for the financial period.

Payroll Support

: Processing payroll, calculating taxes, and checking timesheets.

Compliance & Audits

: Ensuring adherence to accounting standards (like GAAP) and assisting auditors with necessary documentation.

Budgeting Support

: Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring expenses.
Essential Skills & Focus:

Attention to Detail

: Critical for accurate data entry and reconciliation.

Accounting Software

: Proficiency in tools like QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP.

Problem-Solving

: Identifying and resolving financial discrepancies.

Supervision

: Works under senior accountants, learning and executing tasks
Should have good knowledge of GST & TDS Return
