Junior Accountant: The candidate will have an opportunity to get the exposure of shared services accounting processes transactions of AP and monthly books close activities (accruals/recons), of multiple geographical locations where we work closely with counterparts in California and UK, while working from India. As a Junior Accountant at ThoughtSpot, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how various aspects of Accounting comes together to produce ThoughtSpot quarterly financials. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting in the following key projects:

• Accounts Payable: tracking, analyzing and submission of bills and expenses of various geographical locations (US/EMEA/APAC)

• Month end activities including AP accruals and month end reconciliations

• Assisting with the creation of desktop procedures/SOP documentation

• As appropriate, other accounting activities and special projects may apply

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• B.Com/M.Com/MBA/pursuing CA/CWA with 1-2 years’ experience in Business, Finance or Accounting
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa and/or other/similar Enterprise SaaS systems - PC literate with intermediate/advance level excel
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Exceptional attention to detail and quick learner
• Oral and written communication skills
• Willingness and eagerness to learn on the job
• Maintains a positive attitude and willing to put in the time, effort and drive needed to ensure the internship further develops and inspires the candidate as they head back to school
