Juniior QA Engiineer (Manuall & Automatiion)

About the Role:-

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Juniiorr Testterr to join our development team. Currently, our developers handle their own testing, and we are lookingfor a dedicated expert to take the reigns of the Quality Assurance process.

This isn't just a "testing" job; it is an opportunity to build a QA culture from scratch. You will be responsible for ensuring our web and mobile applications are bug-freebefore they reach the user, moving us from a developer-led testing model to a robust, scenario-based QA lifecycle.

Key Responsibilites:-

Scenario Creation: Design and document comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on project requirements.

Execution: Perform thorough manual testing on current apps and websites to identify bugs, edge cases, and UI/UX inconsistencies.

Bug Management: Log and track issues using GiittLab, coordinating closely with developers to ensure timely fixes.

Automation Growth: Develop testing scripts using Python, JS to transition repetitive manual tasks into automated test suites.

CI/CD Integration: Work toward implementing automated testing within our CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development lifecycle.

Planning: Proactively plan testing phases for upcoming features to ensure "Quality by Design.

Requirements

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Software Testing (QA).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python for basic scripting.

Experience with various testing tools (both manual and automated). Example: Cypress, PyTest, Selenium, Postman, Locust, JMeter etc.

Familiarity with GitLab/GitHub for issue tracking and version control.

Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and bug-tracking workflows.

Education: A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field

Your First 90 Days

Month 1: Deep dive into our existing applications, create comprehensive test scenarios, and start clearing the current bug backlog via GitLab.

Month 2: Establish a standardized testing workflow and begin coordinating daily with the dev team to improve code reliability.

Month 3: Begin developing Python-based scripts for automated testing and outline a roadmap for CI/CD integration.
