Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Junior Electrical Design Engineer

to join our engineering design team. The ideal candidate will support the preparation of electrical system layouts, calculations, and documentation for various industrial and infrastructure projects. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing electrical design drawings such as single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring layouts, and panel schedules. Perform basic load calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection. Support in preparing technical documentation including datasheets, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM). Update and manage drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent CAD tools. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate integration of designs. Participate in site visits and surveys to verify conditions and assist in updating as-built drawings. Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and client requirements. Maintain project documentation and design records efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering

Experience:

0-2 years (Fresh graduates encouraged to apply)

Technical Skills:

Basic proficiency in AutoCAD (Electrical) or similar design software Understanding of electrical systems and standards (e.g., IEC, IS) Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word) for documentation

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and teamwork abilities Eagerness to learn and grow in the electrical design field
