What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Engineer with expertise in Python and OSIsoft PI. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of OSIsoft PI infrastructure, along with designing and implementing software solutions in Python to improve system performance and reliability.


Planning and implementing changes to the application as part of a structured release process (as approved and aligned by customers) Oversee a team of developers and lead efforts to grow it into a fully capable development team Establish software development processes and define code review, testing, and deployment standards

What Work You Could Do as a System Engineer

Manage automation-related engineering services per customer requirements Ensure documentation and define procedures that follow best practices Execute activities per data management and operational duties Collaborate effectively across processing units and support teams Deliver high-level support, including fault diagnosis, maximizing output Document and track system updates and changes Enhance system configuration (AF or EF modules) Write Python analytics using Power BI and OSIsoft PI Create new Notifications or Process Book Displays Serve as a PI Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support users

Required Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Engineering At least 2 years' experience with Python and OSIsoft PI Solid knowledge of networks, hardware/software, and TCP/IP protocol Understanding of network security principles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with Power BI and SaaS tools Logic implementation expertise
