We are looking for a
Jr. System Administrator
to assist in maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of system operations, networking, and troubleshooting and will work under the guidance of the senior IT team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of
desktops, laptops, and servers.
Support
network setup, internet connectivity, and basic troubleshooting.
Monitor and maintain
LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Provide
technical support
for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
Manage
user accounts, email setups, and system permissions.
Assist in maintaining
data backups, antivirus systems, and security updates.
Monitor system performance and report irregularities to senior administrators.
Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper documentation.
Support the
hosting, domain, and cloud service management
under supervision.
Ensure uptime and smooth functioning of systems used by various departments.
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of
Windows and Linux operating systems.
Understanding of
network concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
Familiarity with
firewalls, routers, and switches
(basic configuration).
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge of
cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or DigitalOcean)
is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively and learn quickly.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in
Computer Science, IT, or Networking.
Experience:
0 to 2 years (freshers with technical knowledge can apply).
Basic certifications like
CCNA, MCSA, or CompTIA A+ / Network+
will be an added advantage.
