Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Junior Quality Engineer

with 2-3 years of experience in the fabrication industry to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining and enhancing our quality management systems,ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Support:

Assist in developing and implementing quality management systems to ensure products meet established standards.

Inspection and Testing:

Conduct routine inspections and tests on fabricated and machined components to verify compliance with quality standards.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and quality issues.

Root Cause Analysis:

Participate in identifying the root causes of quality issues and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Process Improvement:

Support initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and process efficiency through continuous improvement methodologies.

Compliance:

Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to address quality concerns and implement solutions.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

2-3 years of experience in a quality engineering or quality assurance role within the fabrication industry.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies, such as Six Sigma or ISO standards.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and equipment; basic knowledge of statistical analysis and quality control software.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within teams.
