Job Title: Junior Purchase Executive

Qualifications:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Required Experience:

3-5 Years

Key Responsibilities:

Source and procure mechanical components, fabrication items, castings, and other engineering materials as per technical drawings and specifications. Interpret mechanical and fabrication drawings to ensure procurement accuracy and vendor understanding. Identify and evaluate new suppliers for cost, quality, and reliability; maintain approved vendor lists. Negotiate with vendors for the best possible prices, terms, and delivery schedules. Prepare, issue, and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and material availability. Coordinate with production, quality, design, and stores departments to align procurement activities with operational requirements. Conduct supplier audits and assist in QMS (Quality Management System) documentation and compliance with ISO 3000 standards. Maintain procurement data, vendor performance reports, and cost analyses using Power BI and MS Excel. Participate in internal and external quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to company procurement procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.
