Job Description

As a Junior Project Engineer Intern in the Automation field, you will assist in the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions for industrial and manufacturing projects. You will work closely with senior engineers to gain hands-on experience in PLC programming, control systems, instrumentation, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in

designing and developing automation systems

including PLC, SCADA, and HMI-based solutions. Support the

preparation of control logic, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts

. Participate in

testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting

of automation equipment and systems. Collaborate with the project team to ensure projects are executed according to specifications, timelines, and safety standards. Prepare and maintain

technical documentation

, reports, and project files. Learn and implement

industrial communication protocols

(e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP). Assist in

on-site installation and commissioning

under supervision. Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools in industrial automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Recently completed a

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.

Basic knowledge of

PLC programming (Siemens / Allen Bradley / Schneider / Mitsubishi, etc.)

Understanding of

HMI / SCADA systems

and industrial networks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Eagerness to learn and take initiative in project activities.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):

Exposure to

robotics, sensors, and industrial automation tools

. Basic knowledge of

AutoCAD / EPLAN

for panel or circuit design. Familiarity with

IoT or Industry 4.0

concepts.
