Job Description

Position: Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage daily production activities to meet quality and output targets. Monitor machine operations and process parameters to ensure smooth production flow. Plan and allocate manpower effectively to meet production schedules. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards on the shop floor. Coordinate with maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime. Maintain daily production records and prepare reports for management. Identify areas for process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce wastage. Support implementation of 5S and lean practices on the shop floor.

Skills: Knowledge of production processes and shop floor management. Understanding of mechanical drawings and process parameters. Ability to handle manpower and shift management. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S. Good communication and reporting skills.

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 1-3 years in production supervision in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred: Experience in rubber or engineering manufacturing industries, exposure to process improvement initiatives.
