Junior Production Engineer

Job Summary

The Junior Production Engineer supports daily production activities, ensures smooth manufacturing operations, assists in process improvement, and helps maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing daily production schedules. Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and adherence to standards. Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, and machine operators on the shop floor. Identify production issues and support corrective and preventive actions. Ensure material availability and proper utilization to reduce wastage. Support implementation of process improvements and productivity initiatives. Maintain production records, reports, and documentation. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety norms, and company policies. Assist in machine maintenance planning and downtime analysis. Coordinate with Quality, Stores, and Maintenance teams as required.
Skills & Competencies

Basic knowledge of manufacturing/production processes Understanding of quality standards and safety practices Good analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work on the shop floor Basic MS Excel and reporting skills Good communication and coordination skills

Educational Qualification

Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related engineering discipline

Experience

0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment Freshers can be considered with relevant internships or training

Preferred Industry (if applicable)

Manufacturing / Interior Fit-out / Furniture / Engineering / Fabrication
