Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Junior Production Engineer

to support our furniture and metal fabrication operations. The role involves assisting in production planning, process optimization, quality control, and ensuring smooth workflow on the shop floor. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes related to

metal furniture, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly operations

.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in

daily production planning

and scheduling to meet delivery timelines. Coordinate with design, fabrication, and assembly teams for

smooth production flow

. Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and suggest

process improvements

. Maintain and update

production records

, job sheets, and material usage reports. Support in

resource allocation

- manpower, machinery, and materials. Ensure

quality standards

are maintained throughout all production stages. Assist in

cost estimation

and optimization of material usage. Work with maintenance and design teams to resolve technical or production issues. Ensure compliance with

safety and 5S standards

on the shop floor. Participate in

continuous improvement initiatives

such as Lean Manufacturing or Kaizen.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of

metal fabrication processes

(cutting, bending, welding, powder coating, etc.). Understanding of

furniture production techniques

(wood-metal combination, assembly, finishing). Proficiency in

AutoCAD / SolidWorks

for reading and interpreting technical drawings. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and communication abilities. Basic knowledge of

ERP or production tracking systems

is an advantage.

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech

in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.

2-3 years

of experience in furniture manufacturing or metal fabrication industry. Freshers with relevant internship/project experience may also apply.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
