Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Production Engineer to support the production process in our Interior Design/Manufacturing division. The role involves assisting in planning, supervising, and executing production activities to ensure timely delivery, high quality, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day production operations on the shop floor. Coordinate with design, purchase, and project teams for smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain production schedules, reports, and documentation. Monitor material availability and coordinate with stores/purchase for requirements. Ensure adherence to quality standards and assist in implementing quality checks. Identify bottlenecks and support in resolving technical/production issues. Assist in manpower allocation and ensure productivity on the shop floor. Support in implementing lean manufacturing practices and process improvements. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Provide regular updates to Production Manager/Engineer regarding progress and challenges.

Requirements:

Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related field. 0-2 years of experience in production, preferably in interior design, furniture, or manufacturing industry (freshers may also apply). Basic knowledge of production planning, manufacturing processes, and quality control. Understanding of AutoCAD / SolidWorks or similar software will be an added advantage. Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills. Ability to work under deadlines and in a team environment.
