Position Description:

This position will work very closely with:

• BMC SaaS Ops SRE Team - Upgrade, Change Management & Tools
• Other BMC SaaS Ops Teams - DevOps, Customer Support Team, Services Team
• BMC SaaS Customers - To gather requirements, Fix UAT/Migration issues, Project Cutover

Key Primary Responsibilities:

• Handling of all BMC SaaS Project Changes, Releases, Upgrades & Migration work
• Coordinate with customers to gather requirements before starting any release, design, develop the plan & execution of plan related to upgrade and migration programs.
• Working on POCs to finalize the future processes, upgrade & migration approaches.
• Working on JIRA stories to automate the Task/Activities to reduce overall project activity/change time.
• Troubleshooting & Fixing all Issues identified during different upgrade tracks or migration work.
• Coordinate with internal teams including NOC, Infrastructure Team, Customer Support Team, Services Team.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Handling of various systems to manage the workflow of Change Requests raised for various releases.
• Provisioning SaaS environments used throughout the Release Time.
• Coordinate with Product Teams & Engineering Teams to get the quick resolution of bugs.
• Coordinate with Tools & Monitoring Team for various monitoring & automation projects
• Coordinate with Life Cycle Management Team for various automation activities
• Participate in Internal Team Review meetings.

Position Requirements:

• Working knowledge of latest version of BMC Products, various migration tools along with BMC Helix.
• Working knowledge of SaaS, Cloud Technologies and various Integrations
• Expertise in ARS Development using ARS Forms & ARS objects - Active Links, Filters, Escalation, Active Link Guide, Filter Guides, Menus, Web Services, Applications.
• Very Good Exposure of Remedy Integrations using latest version of Remedy APIs, ARS workflow, Integrations with SRM, Incident, Change, Work Order and CMDB Module.
• Working Knowledge of TrueSight Ops Management, Patrol, TrueSight Synthetic Monitoring, TMART, Entuity, Prometheus, Grafana, Atrium Orchestrator, etc.
• Ability to work with significant deadlines for SRE & DevOps projects.
• Working Knowledge of SRM, ITSM, CMDB & Remedy Architect. ITIL v3 certification is preferable.
• Working Knowledge of RSSO, DWP, Smart IT, Smart Reporting, Analytics & Dashboards.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DBFS, etc.
• Able to design & document the requirements comprehensively to execute the Project Plans.
• Ability to automate complex requirements using scripting. Very good troubleshooting skills to debug the scripts - DOS Batch, Power Shell, Perl, Python, Unix Shell script and Java Scripts, etc.
• Hard Working, dedicated & effective communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
