Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

PHP CodeIgniter Developer

to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving web applications using the CodeIgniter framework. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using

PHP and CodeIgniter

Write clean, secure, and well-documented code Design and integrate

RESTful APIs

Work with

MySQL

or other relational databases Optimize application performance and scalability Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI elements Follow best practices for security, coding standards, and version control Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in

PHP

Hands-on experience with

CodeIgniter framework

Experience with

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery

Strong knowledge of

MySQL database design and queries

Experience with

MVC architecture

Familiarity with

Git or other version control systems

Understanding of web security practices Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Codeignitor

PHP frameworks

Knowledge of

AJAX, JSON, and REST APIs

Experience in deploying applications on shared or cloud hosting Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred but not required)

1-4+ years

of experience in PHP web development
