Assist in receiving and understanding client orders and specifications.
Prepare order sheets, measurement charts, and requirement details.
Coordinate with cutting, stitching, finishing, and production teams for smooth execution.
2. Follow-ups & Tracking
Track order status and share regular updates with senior merchandisers.
Follow up with departments to ensure timely completion of each stage.
Maintain WIP (Work In Progress) reports.
3. Material & Sample Management
Coordinate with the fabric and trims store for material issuance.
Assist in sample development and ensure samples are delivered on time.
Record consumption details and prevent material wastage.
4. Quality & Approvals
Coordinate with quality team for inspections.
Ensure products meet client standards before dispatch.
Assist in resolving quality-related issues.
5. Vendor & Client Communication
Support senior merchandisers in vendor coordination.
Share basic updates with clients when required.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain all merchandising files, order reports, and production records.
Prepare daily reports and assist in documentation for audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Fashion Technology, Garment Technology, or related field.
2 years of experience in merchandising (freshers can also apply).
Basic understanding of garment manufacturing processes.
Strong follow-up, coordination, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel & documentation.
Detail-oriented and organized.
