Assist in receiving and understanding buyer requirements, samples, and order details.
Prepare order sheets and update details in the system.
Coordinate with production, sampling, cutting, stitching, and finishing teams for smooth workflow.
2. Sample Development
Follow up on sample development (proto, fit, PP samples).
Ensure samples meet specifications related to fabric, trims, measurements, and quality.
Organize sample approvals from clients.
3. Fabric & Trim Coordination
Work closely with the purchase team for timely availability of fabrics, trims, accessories, and packing materials.
Maintain records of materials required and consumed.
4. Production Follow-up
Monitor production status and ensure timelines are met.
Track stitching, printing, embroidery, and finishing activities.
Resolve day-to-day production issues in coordination with senior merchandisers.
5. Quality & Inspection
Ensure quality standards are followed as per buyer requirements.
Conduct inline and final inspections along with the quality team.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain order files, measurement charts, approvals, and communication records.
Prepare daily/weekly reports on sample status, production progress, and dispatch updates.
7. Client Communication
Assist seniors in handling client emails and approvals.
Attend client meetings and factory visits when required.
Skills & Requirements:
1-3 years of merchandising experience (uniform or garment manufacturing preferred).
Knowledge of fabrics, trims, stitching processes, printing & embroidery.
Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic documentation.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and strong coordination abilities.
