Job Description

Job Title: Jr. MEP Designer

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing MEP layouts for HVAC, lighting, power, data, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems. Support senior engineers in developing detailed design drawings and documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and other software. Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and other consultants to ensure seamless integration of MEP services. Perform site visits to understand existing conditions and assist in preparing as-built drawings. Participate in design review meetings and incorporate feedback into revised designs. Assist in checking compliance with building codes, regulations, and green building standards. Support in preparing BOQs, load calculations, and technical specifications. Maintain up-to-date records of project drawings and revisions.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field. 4 to 5 years of experience in MEP design, preferably within commercial interior projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit and other BIM software is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under deadlines.
