xe2x80x9cEKSxe2x80x9d in our mainframe application landscape. This comprises:
xefx82xb7 Further development and maintenance of that framework.
xefx82xb7 Support projects and application development teams in designing and implementing
systems based on this framework
xefx82xb7 Support projects and development teams in testing and error analysis.
xefx82xb7 Consulting projects in integrating mainframe services in distributed applications xe2x80x93 mainly
connecting web services or microservices on several platforms (be premises or in the
cloud).
xefx82xb7 Familiarize yourself with the design principles, techniques an methodologies of EKS from a
userxe2x80x99s (i.e. developerxe2x80x99s) view as well as the internal view as EKS expert.
Market observation and evaluation of new technologies and trends in the field of runtime
architecture with a focus on the mainframe platform
xefx82xb7 Creation, maintenance and updating of the architecture blueprint for the runtime architecture
components including a roadmap for the further development of the runtime architecture
xefx82xb7 Selection, development and implementation of tools and components for the runtime
architecture with a focus on the mainframe platform
xefx82xb7 Training/instruction of the SW developers with regard to these components
xefx82xb7 Participation in major projects by integrating the standard components into applications
xefx82xb7 Support, consulting and training of application developers (including programming guidelines
for performance optimization) with a focus on mainframe projects
xefx82xb7 Support of application development projects with technical application architecture
xefx82xb7 Enforcement and monitoring of compliance with architecture standards (including project
reviews)Required qualifications and skills:Specialized degree and/or several years of successful work in professional application
development with a focus on the mainframe area
xefx82xb7 Very good knowledge of application development under IMS transaction monitor
xefx82xb7 Very good knowledge of COBOL
xefx82xb7 Very good knowledge of mainframe architecture (especially IMS)
xefx82xb7 Willingness to learn new technologies xe2x80x93 and also old ones.
xefx82xb7 Team spirit, personal responsibility, communication skills, understanding of services
