Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Embedded Engineer to join our engineering team. This role will focus on firmware development, hardware-software integration, and prototype development under the guidance of senior engineering leadership. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with embedded systems and a passion for learning and growing their technical skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain firmware for embedded systems under senior engineer guidance Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes Support hardware-software integration activities for product development Build and test prototypes, including circuit board bring-up and validation Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including designspecifications, test reports, and user guides Conduct functional testing, performance analysis, and compile detailed testresults Provide technical support for ongoing projects and assist with troubleshootingcustomer issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers,mechanical design engineers, software developers, and quality assurance Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for embedded softwaredevelopment

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 2-5 years of experience with embedded systems development (internships and academic projects count) Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems Working knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded processors (ARM, AVR,PIC, or similar) Understanding of hardware interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, CAN) Experience with debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAGdebuggers) Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a teamenvironment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS or similar Familiarity with version control systems (Git) Experience with Python or other scripting languages for test automation Understanding of power management and battery-operated device design Experience with PCB layout and hardware design principles

Pay: ?10,611.91 - ?80,000.00 per month
