We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the company and maintain the organization's financial accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Prepare and process vendor payments.
Reconcile vendor statements.
Accounts Receivable:
Prepare and issue invoices to customers.
Track and follow up on outstanding customer payments.
Prepare and maintain customer accounts.
Bank Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements with company records.
Identify and investigate any discrepancies.
Data Entry:
Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
General Accounting Support:
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare various financial reports as required.
Support other accounting functions as needed.
Tax Deductions, Filing and Compliance
:
Recording and calculating taxes on transactions, such as TDS, and GST etc.
Ensuring timely tax filings and remittances.
Audit Support and Compliance
:
Preparing and organizing documents required for internal and external audits.
Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and internal policies.
Assisting auditors by providing necessary data and clarifications.
Inventory Management and Controls
Periodical Stock audits and Reconciliations
Consumption and utilization reporting
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2 - 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
Excellent data entry and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
