: Junior Engineer - Machine Vision & Automation

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated

Junior Engineer

to work on

Machine Vision Systems

. This role is based in the office and involves supporting both internal teams and external customers, including providing demonstrations, programming, documentation, and application engineering.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Support & Application Engineering

Understand customer requirements and help in selection of

vision systems,

Prepare

Bill of Materials (BOM)

and recommend the appropriate configuration for each application. Conduct application feasibility studies and provide engineering solutions.

2. Programming & System Integration

Program and configure

machine vision systems

, including camera setup, optics, lighting, and software tools. Integrate vision systems with automation equipment as required. Conduct internal testing, debugging, and optimization of solutions.

3. Demonstrations & Customer Interaction

Provide on-demand demonstrations to customers visiting the office. Explain system features, capabilities, and commercial advantages to support pre-sales. Participate in technical discussions with customers to understand requirements.

4. Pre-Sales & Post-Sales Support

Support the sales team with technical presentations, feasibility reports, and demonstrations. Track all pre-sales and post-sales activities to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction. Prepare detailed

test reports, validation documents, and performance reports

.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain application notes, configuration documents, wiring diagrams, and programming files. Generate test reports, inspection reports, and project documentation. Maintain internal logs and tracking sheets for projects, demos, and customer interactions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma or B.E/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, ECE, or related fields. Basic knowledge of:
o Machine Vision Systems

Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn new technologies. Good communication skills for interacting with internal teams and customers. Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain documentation accurately.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

Experience with any vision software (Cognex, Keyence, Omron, etc.) Basic understanding of electrical wiring, panel drawings, or machine integration

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
