1. To work on conceptual design, basic design, and detailed engineering of industrial projects in electrical and instrumentation.
2. To work on power load calculations based on equipment loads related to Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), process equipment, utility equipment, lighting, etc.
3. To work on basic Single-Line-Diagram (SLD) on the information provided by his/her senior
4. To prepare cable schedules and select appropriate switch gear based on voltage drop calculations.
5. To perform lighting calculations based on required lux levels and environmental conditions.
6. To size cable trays based on the routing and load of the electrical cables.
7. To prepare the BOQ along with proper costing backup and vendor quotations for all components.
8. To edit the technical specifications and data sheets for all electrical components and equipment typically used in an industrial project.
9. To work and check the Reflected Ceiling Plan (RCP), switch socket location and light switch placements on the layout drawings.
10. To coordinate with the project management department on site-related issues, internal work amongst other Departments, if any.
11. To adhere to work timelines as per schedules set by the project management department, department head, and the client.
12. To regularly monitor your own KRA requirements and update them for discussion with the reporting manager.

Requirements
Proficiency in AutoCAD with hands-on experience.
Proficiency in spreadsheets.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
Ability to multitask and deliver within deadlines.
Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Collaborative approach with internal teams and vendors.
?Strong time management skills and task prioritization abilities.
Good understanding of calculations and technical know-how.
Good understanding of equipment selection.
Familiarity with low-tension (LT) power design and high-tension (HT) breaker design prior the transformer.
Familiarity with National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and other applicable electrical design standards and guidelines.
Must have worked in the design of electrical systems for industrial projects.
Understanding of project stages and site progress monitoring.
Exposure to pharmaceutical engineering projects are preferred, however not mandatory
Awareness of technical documentation required for purchase, delivery, and installation of components at the site, like design data, technical specifications, design qualification, construction drawings, and typical drawings.
