Job Details Job Title: Jr. Embedded Firmware Engineer Job Location : Ahmedabad Qualification : Bachelors in Electronics, Electrical and related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Experience Required : 3-6 years Job Summary Part of embedded programming and R&D Team. Candidate will be involved in programming of Microcontrollers and will develop Firmware for internal communication and working for off board AC and DC chargers in coordination with Hardware R&D Team Job Responsibilities Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment for EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) or EV Charger. Design, develop, code, test and debug system software. Review code and design. Lead interns and Juniors under you to develop firmwares Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources. Interface with hardware design and development. Developing solutions which satisfy applicable technical specifications such as IEC62196, ISO 15118, IEC 61851, OCPP and adhere to the companys development processes. Interfacing IOs, ADCs, GSM, BLE, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART, RS232, RS485, Modbus, CAN communication with the EV charger controller. To coordinate with hardware, Software, Test team to work in harmony for overall product/solution designs. Maintaining repository using Git for existing and new products. Skills And Requirements Strong embedded C/C++ programming experience Strong experience with micro-controllers and or microprocessors (STM32, ARM Cortex, 32 bit processors) Experience with real-time operating systems on embedded systems (POSIX, QNX, FreeRTOS, etc) is great to have Familiar with modern software development methodology (Agile, Git etc) Experience in automotive communication protocols and stacks (CAN, LIN, ethernet, UDS, etc) Familiar with LINUX Familiar with RFID, UART, Modbus, I2C, ESP, CAN modules. Familiar with STM32Cube IDE, STM32CubeMX will be an added advantage Experience in EV/ EVSE domain will be an added advantage. Familiarity with IEC 62196, ISO 15118, IEC 61851, and OCPP will be an added advantage. Familiarity with software management tools like Git, Jira, and confluence. Excellent team player with great communication skills (written, and verbal).
